I am a clinical psychologist and owner of Crossroads Behavioral Health, LLC in West Hartford, Connecticut.  I earned my B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University and my M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Virginia. I have diverse professional interests, and have worked in a variety of settings as a psychotherapist and as an executive coach.

I am an EMDR certified therapist, a Licensed Highlands Affiliate, and have received executive coach training from the College of Executive Coaching.

As a psychotherapist, I have worked with children, adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  For many years I have specialized in the treatment of eating problems and disorders, adjustment to divorce and remarriage, and women’s issues such as post-partum depression and problems associated with menopause. As a certified EMDR therapist, I work with clients who have experienced both acute and chronic trauma.  I volunteer my services to the Hartford County Trauma Recovery Network. I have also served as a Hospice volunteer. I am a firm believer in primary prevention, and I work closely with educators and healthcare professionals, providing consultation, training and workshops.

As an executive coach, I have helped clients develop and harness their natural strengths and talents to achieve optimum performance.   My work as an executive coach focuses on improving my client’s working relationships with key executives and reports by heightening their emotional intelligence and assessing organizational dynamics, enhancing my client’s ability to effectively influence and lead others.  Working within an interpersonal framework, using my in-depth psychological understanding of human behavior and finely tuned assessment skills, I offer practical, clear, and insightful information to foster my client’s understanding of themselves, their working relationships and their performance.  I have received executive coach training from the College of Executive Coaching, and am a Licensed Highlands Affiliate. I have worked with senior leaders and high potentials from a variety of industries ranging from legal, medical and financial services to technology and fashion industries. Recent clients include: Thomson Reuters, Coach, Scholastic, Tradeweb, Worth, LTD, and The Morris Group, Inc.
